Friday night SAT

I stitch on Friday nights with Let's Stitch blog and with my stitching sisters Yahoo group. I decided to pull out Waxing Moon's Stars & Stripes Forever. This is all that I got accomplished.

organizing and rotation

I have about an hour left of stitching on the ornament for the exchange but found my eyelids closing tonight so will finish it tomorrow and then mail it on Saturday.

I got all the 600s of floss on bobbins and in the Jammers box. A few of them I had 10 of each. The 700s will take me a couple of weeks I think. That bag is really full and will fill one side of the Jammers box.

I have also changed my stitching rotation. I had to do it to make it easier for me. I love the Let's Stitch blog and haven't done the Friday night stitch a thon because I chose a big project. Work is usually busy on Fridays and I dreaded stitching that night. So now I am picking simple things that have been kitted up for years. So now my new rotation:
Mondays- alternate between Rocky Mountain Christmas and The Storyteller
Tuesdays - Mirabilia Winter Queen - when done then UFO Ice Angel
Wednesdays - Night Before Christmas - when done then will be UFO I Shall Wear Purple
Thursdays - The Christmas Angel
Fridays - cute, quicker pieces
Saturdays - Incentive pieces with Only One Ewe BB - Quilt Sampler , M Designs Halloween Tree
Sundays - Halloween designs

CW renewed some shows

for next season and I am happy to see that Smallville and Supernatural are 2 of them. They also will have a new series on called The Vampire Diaries and will be based a little bit on the Twilight series, woohoo!! I am so bad and I had already promised myself no new shows next season as I want to watch more movies. But how can I pass up on a series like that?

On the stitching front I am almost done with ornament for the exchange. I am half done listening to Braking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. I am really enjoying this one.

Good evening

no pics to show as I am still stitching on an ornament , for an exchange. I have been watching TV and all night tonight I was listening to Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.

I was awarded this award from Carolyn and I want to thank her. I appreciate it so much. I have met some great online friends and stitchers through blogging and have learned some great ideas and tips. Here is a description of this award:

These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbon's of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these kind writers. When you pass the award along please include these guidelines. Choose eight friends to share this with.

I can not just choose 8 and I have seen so many already have received this award that I will skip naming 8 people. If you have not received an award and you are a reader of my blog then please add yourself.

sitting in my pjs

I just got caught up on the blogs for the week and commented to a few of them.
Checked my banking online/ TV guide for the week so I know what shows are new and what are repeats or not on at all. I have laundry going and going to go check the lineup for Nascar race tonight. DH won money for the winner last week. Plan on stitching all day and watching movies, unless DH comes home and takes over the remote lol.

I have been stitching

I stitched some more on Night Before Christmas, Thursday night. I will be putting this away for a couple of weeks. This week is ornament week for me.
Thursday I also watched TV while stitching:
General Hospital
Supernatural - 2/5
The Beast 1/29
Bones
Grey's Anatomy
Private Practice

I have also been listening to Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer.

Today I went to Michael's to pick up more plastic bobbins and then to Walmart for Jammers boxes. I bought 6 packages of bobbins and 3 Jammers. That will keep me busy for a couple of weeks. I am almost doen winding all of the 5oo DMS on bobbins and then will put them in numerical order. These are all extra extra floss that I have and will fill a few Jammer boxes. But will be so much easier to find a color when I run out of my regular Jammer box that I use for all the WIPs and UFOs. That Jammer box has 1 of each DMC color in it and has the whole set. I still need to buy 3 clear bins for fabric. 1 for aida- I only use for ornaments and certain designs. I won't buy more when that is all gone. 1 bin for 28 ct and 1 bin for 32 ct. My beads and kreiniks are already organized and I should be ok with the overdyed flosses.

I still have over 1/2 to do on this. but will continue to stitch on it til at least half of it is done. Then I will stitch a couple of pages of Night Before Christmas.
Thanks for all of you leaving comments. it means a lot to me.
Yesterday I finished Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer and tomorrow I will start Breaking Dawn. Then onto some James Patterson books.

Holiday FALs

This was my FAL weekend and I didn't start til today. I did shop for fabric yesterday and had it all pulled out but I couldn't get in the mood til today. There are 2 pieces missing. 1 needs to be framed, I have the frame and will sand it and paint it a lavender color. I have another piece to frame but I didn't have a frame to fit it so that will have to wait for another time. As you can see I have Halloween , Christmas and Valentine pieces here.

an exchange recieved

I received the from Melissa through the stitchingbloggers exchange board. This was the last exchange since the board is closing,. Thank you so much. I love the package.

Quilt sampler

I finished the little block on the top left. I think that the backstitching takes longer than the actual cross stitching. I am also doing this 1 over 1.
I watched General Hospital and 90210. I also listened to Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. I am about halfway through it.
Can't wait to stitch on this some more tomorrow night.

I watched General Hospital, House, 24, and Medium.
Also today I listened to Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. I am enjoying it.

Night Before Christmas

I forgot to post a pic of this. I stitched on it Thursday.

I plan on changing my rotation this month. I am stitching on the Quilt sampler during the week since it was an incentive piece to be done by February 14. Then I will mostly stitch on Night Before Christmas as it is a SAL.
